Mariah's first litter was born in February of 2008.  Although it was a small litter -- two healthy pups -- she proved herself as an attentive and caring mother.  

She had a second litter in March of 2009.    We hadn't intended to breed her in successive heat cycles, but she appeared strong and healthy when she came into heat this summer so we let her breed.  The result was a litter of seven strong healthy bronze pups in October of 2009.

She proved herself as a strong, eager breeder of good solid pups.  Her auburn coat is thick and glossy and seemed to be transmitted to her offspring.

Mariah left us for a kennel in the Ottawa area in May of 2010.  We have every reason to believe she will continue to produce excellent litters for some years to come.
