We were pleased to note what proved to be a successful breeding of Leyla and Gander on 11-10-28. We marked 11-12 30 on our calendars and waited. By Christmas, Leyla was showing definite signs in imminent whelping, so we brought her into the house and settled her in whelping quarters. When Janie checked her at 07:00 on the morning of 11-12-29, she had dropped six healthy pups: two Landseer males, one black male, one Landseer female one black female and one silver female.
The pups have grown well and are thriving.
On 12-01-19 we move Leyla and her pups to the old dog trailer, where the pups began to eat solid food and mom had a little more space.
On 12-01-26, we moved mother and pups to our new whelping shed, where they are currently residing.

In this litter the Landseer female and one Landseer male are still available for adoption.
