Misty is a female pup born 07-03-05. In these three pictures, taken in
late April, she's about 18 healthy pounds.
By May 11th, Misty weighed 22 lbs.
Just after Misty's first birthday, I received the following
e-mail and three pictures:
Misty is a much better dog than
I am a photographer! On her birthday (Feb 20, 2008) she weighed 110.7 pounds
and is still growing. She is a supremely gentle animal and the largest lap dog
I have ever seen! On Christmas Eve we had friends over with their 18 month old
grandson and he showed no fear of Misty. They have pictures of Misty curled up
around the baby on our living room floor...a very heartwarming sight.
We had problems with the Royal
Canin food we started her on ( didn't agree with her) so we switched to
Medical and she is doing great.
Maybe some time this summer we
will take her for a ride to see you and her birthplace.(she loves the SUV-the
backseat is her private lounger)

Our so called "Cold Water Rescue Dog"
hasn't learned to swim yet! Hopefully this summer she will learn to enjoy the
water. Last summer she would stand on the top step in the pool (6-8 inches of
water!) but would go no further. We are selling our house and buying one
without a pool so it won't really be a problem.
